Discover and Deepen your Practice
Are you curious about yoga but find the idea of just joining a class intimidating?
Have you been to a yoga class and found that it moved too fast to work out what you’re actually doing?
Have you been practicing yoga for a while but are unsure still how to adapt poses to suit you and you’re body?
Are you looking for more about how to get more out of your yoga practice?
Are you wanting to find out more about yoga as a whole? A taste of yoga as more than a practice of physical postures?
If you answered Yes, or even a Maybe to any of the above questions then this workshop is designed for you!
This workshop offers you the opportunity dive deeper into the foundations of breath work (pranayama), Yoga postures (asana), the blending of both through a flowing sequence where breath and movement connect (Vinyasa).
You will have the chance to work through poses and adaptations, to make them accessible to you, to adjust the level of challenge, to feel alignment in your body, for your body.
Whether you're a new or an experienced practitioner, this workshop is crafted to meet you where you are. I will support and guide you through each pose, ensuring understanding of the principles behind each movement and how to adapt them to your body.
In addition to physical practice you'll learn about meditation and mindfulness techniques that can complement your asana practice and bring a sense of peace and clarity to your mind.
The workshop is designed to be interactive and supportive, fostering a sense of community and shared learning. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, share your experiences, and connect with others.
By the end of this workshop, you will not only have a deeper understanding of yoga but also the knowledge to adapt your practice to meet you and your body where you’re at. Whether your goal is to enhance your physical flexibility, manage stress, or simply find a moment of calm in your busy life, this workshop will provide the tools and confidence you need to continue your practice in class or at home.

What Participants are saying -
“Since attending classes with Grounded Motion I’ve Noticed I have increased flexibility, I also noticed an increase in strength (in particular picking my 3 year old up, now doing it with ease rather than straining to pick her up). Also noticed a change in taking deep breaths to help relax and gather my thoughts.” Caitlin C.
“I highly recommend these classes to my friends., Morgan's classes are fantastic” Pam M.
“At the end of class I feel really good, I enjoy the mix of breathing, self massage, stretching and flows and the sound bath at the end. The sound bath is fantastic and a new and lovely part of the practice.” Tash
“Since attending classes with Grounded Motion I’ve found it easier to meditate and to remain calm in stressful situations - like work” Lauren C.
“Morgan runs the class for any level of experience.” Ash O.
FAQ
What makes your workshops different?
My workshops embody more than yoga, more than movement. They consist of breathwork, aromatherapy, self massage, vinyasa, crystal sound baths and savasana. The foundations workshop is an opportunity to learn about poses, how to modify and adapt them to your body and how to deepen your yoga practice. It is structured in a way that takes you through a journey, connecting your mind, with yourself, your breath, your body, your movement, and allow the space for you to explore. Yoga is an incredibly adaptable practice, no matter where you start from there is always room for growth.
What level of experience do I need to participate?
No experience is necessary. These workshops are open to all and will have levels of difficulty accessible to all. I strongly encourage you to practice within your scope on the day and will give you the opportunity to work with me to see how you can feel in to the poses so that they offer a level of challenge that meets your body where you’re at.
What do I need to bring?
Supportive props will be provided. All you need to bring is yourself, a mat and a water bottle. Please remember to wear clothes you’re comfortable moving in.
What happens if I miss a class?
There are no refunds for workshops booked. In some instances if you know ahead of time that you won’t be able to make it you may be able to attend a later workshop. This is subject to availability.
I’m experiencing financial hardship. Are there any concessions?
If you’re experiencing financial hardship please reach out and we can work out a way for you to access the classes and connect with our community.
