Discovering Yoga
It was many years ago when I was in my early 20’s that I got up the courage to go to my first yoga class. I was unsure if I would fit in, if I would be flexible enough, strong enough, fit enough to be able to do it.
But I did it, and I can still remember the feeling I had leaving the studio. It was this sense of connection with my body, a feeling of strength, and a feeling of calmness.
The journey to starting Grounded Motion
It was the journey through my first pregnancy, birth and my postnatal period that really had me reflecting on what holistic and accessible services are actually available to women, to support them with the unique seasons of life, month to month, year to year.

Feed your Soul!
That’s a wrap for the first week of the spring summer season at Grounded Motion and what a week it was!
If you weren’t able to get to one of our classes, then you wouldn’t have had the opportunity to participate in the wholistic experience we offer, however there is still 7 weeks left to come and arrive on the mat with us! A question we've been asked a lot lately is what makes Grounded Motion different?
Simply put its more than just a vinyasa yoga class, hence our mantra.
More than Yoga. More than movement.
